Hello, All,

I thought I'd post this. OK, so my little sister Cindy and I are just doin' our own thing, right? Well, we hear knocking on the door, and we don't answer; we wanna see if the person'll say anything. Nope. Silence; just knocking and our fearful, rattled breathing. I quietly call Cindy into the room with me. We hear keys. Maybe it's Dad? Mom? Nanna? Grumps? Who else would have the key? Maintainance? Yes, they're very rude about that; maybe it's them. Something tells me it isn't. He steps in.

"Hello? Pest Control!" he says, but we can't understand him; we're too scared. "Hello? Hello?!" He walks through our apartment. Quietly, I cry, tears spilling from my eyes, but I am unable to breathe. My chest is tight, and my body is shaking. He walks by our room. Finally, I find my voice.

"Who are you?"

"Pest Control."

"How did you get in?"

"They gave me a key. I thought I'd letcha know that I killed all the ants."

"Did they know you were coming?"

"Yes, there was a note on the door. Sorry I scared you; I didn't know you were alone."

"It's OK." He leaves, and I call Dad, still scared shitless. It has been 15 minutes since this happened, and I am still shivering like a maraka! LMAO!...

Songwriter I would contact the company who sent the numpty to invade your home and demand that you are notified in future..here we would be sent notification a few days before, allowing us time to change the date if possible...if workmen arrive unannounced we do not open the door..I realise you had no choice but to accept this intruder and that's unacceptable.

High song writer,
Wow, I bet that was really scarey. Well, I , or I should say we almost had a close call once when my mom, my grandmother and I went to the state of Iowa to visit my moms' sister. Mom had stopped at a place to get some food, and while we were in the car, this woman came up to us and said, I heard you were traveling. I thought she and my mom had spoken a little bit, so I told her we were going to visit my aunt. My grandmother wasn't saying anything. My mom came back to the car, and as soon as she came up, the woman took off really quick. Mom remarked that that sure was a friendly girl. My grandmother told her she wouldn't have thought she was friendly if she knew what the woman had been trying to do. She had had her hand halfway inside my moms' pocketbook. We were lucky my mom came back when she did. I wish my grandmother had said something like, what are you doing inside her pocketbook? But then there's no knowing what the woman would've done if she had done that.

Awww my poor poor Melmel!!! Hugs! I'm so glad you're okay. You did the right thing, by not answering the door and hiding until you were sure he wasn't a threat. And keeping yoru sis with you. You're so brave. I woulda like died right there on the floor with fear. And yeah eh shoulda called you and said, "I'll be there in a few minutes." At least he apologized for scaring you! That same thing happened to my sis. Thsi guy came into our yard to return some furniture he'd mended. Only he came into the yard first, without being invited. He kind of looked around, and then he caem to the door and started pounding on it. My sis was alone and she freaked, she just saw him and thought he was some weirdo, and so she called the cops. And they came and she was like totally freaked and histerical, and the guy was all, "Oh, I'm the landscaper dude, sorry ..." blah blah. Lol. But he'd said he was coming later that day and he came early so my sis didn't know. Lol. But at least she did the right thing. I woulda been so scared!
